Autumn has well and truly arrived. The long, hot summer is now just a memory. To hold on to it a little longer, we’re turning our gaze southwards. First we raise the Spanish flag, and four days later the East takes over.
On 12 October, Spain celebrates its Fiesta Nacional, the day the country looks back on Columbus’s crossing in 1492. For the Spanish community in Brussels – and for anyone who loves Spain – the celebrations will ring out loud and clear at VIAGE too.

Early birds can join in from 11 am on Monday 12 October. Collect 300 points on the slot machines by 8 pm and you’ll print a ticket for a spin of the wheel. From 4 pm, the gaming tables join in too: at Roulette, Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Punto Banco, ‘Lucky 12’ and ‘Lucky 2’ decide who earns a voucher. Exchange your voucher between 6 pm and 9 pm for a spin of the Wheel of Fortune.

Around half past six, the CINNA Bar fills with the scent of saffron. Until 8 pm, we’ll be serving up a giant paella, and with a little luck, the wheel might win you a free plate. Reserve your seat at the table here. Meanwhile, a live DJ keeps the Spanish fire burning well into the night.
An Oriental Evening
On Friday 16 October, the horizon shifts. From 6 pm until midnight, an oriental dancer swirls through the casino to live music, transforming the night into an Oriental Night. At the henna stand, you can have your hands adorned with elegant designs, while mint tea, olives, dried fruit and a bar full of oriental sweets treat you along the way.
The journey continues at the table. A special oriental-inspired three-course menu for €25 opens with a scampi pastilla, followed by a chicken tagine with olives and preserved lemon, and finishes with a duo of oriental pastries. €5 in promo chips is included. Can’t make it on Friday? The menu stays on all weekend, with a veal tagine with apricots and roasted almonds on Saturday, and lamb with prunes on Sunday.
