No Sweat at VIAGE

Not all students get to enjoy the long, warm summer carefree. Some unfortunately have to get back to work to prove what they've learned. Luckily, VIAGE is once again ready to help.

August in Brussels this year is not just quiet, but also exceptionally warm. Since you're already working up enough "sweat" over your exams, a cool, quiet place to study counts double. Libraries are running shortened hours, campuses sit empty, and home doesn't always offer the silence or the cool air you need.

Since 3 August, VIAGE is once again stepping in to fill that gap. The concert hall that once hosted music legends like Prince and Eminem is being transformed, until August 30th, into a study space for fifty students at a time, open every day from 10 am to 10 pm. That's considerably longer than most other study spots in the city. What's more, VIAGE sits right in the heart of Brussels, within walking distance of De Brouckère, the Bourse, and Brussels-Central station.

The study space is located on the sixth floor. Take the two escalators up and follow the corridor to the right. Food isn't allowed, including in the adjoining hallways. If you need a break, it's best to step outside for a bit. A short break outdoors is never wasted time — it clears your head, helps information sink in, and you'll come back sharper for your next study block. Give yourself that moment; it won't hurt your retake.

As with previous exam periods, the setup runs through Brik. Book ahead via their Study Space website. On-site, all you need is a quick check-in and check-out.
