Double blush this October

One in eight women in Belgium will face breast cancer at some point in her life. Behind that figure lie more than 11,000 new diagnoses every year: mothers, colleagues, friends, sisters. That's why October turns pink, and this year it does so twice over.

Under the banner of OOctober, brands and organisations across the country are doubling the O in their names as a sign of solidarity with Think Pink and with everyone touched by the disease. As it does every year, VIAGE is proud to join in.

Five Shades of Pink

Founded in 2007, Think Pink has grown into Belgium's national breast cancer organisation. The non-profit informs and raises awareness. Beyond stressing the importance of early detection, it supports patients and their families with reliable information and guidance. The organisation also stands up for patients' rights and invests in scientific research through its SMART Fund.

This year, Think Pink's familiar ribbon comes in five shades of pink, one for each of the five most common forms of breast cancer. After all, no two stories are alike. Buy a ribbon for two euros in October and you directly support concrete projects.

Not Our First Time in Pink

VIAGE and Think Pink go back a long way. Over the years, a range of initiatives have already raised tidy sums in support. This year, we're turning everyday moments into a gesture of support. Set foot in the casino for the first time in October, and one euro goes straight to Think Pink. You can do a good deed at the table, too: for every all-in package you choose this month, we donate one euro to the organisation. The same goes for every weekly Wednesday buffet. A night out has never tasted so good.

Ladies Afterwork: The Think Pink Edition

The highlight comes on Thursday 29 October, when our Ladies Afterwork turns pink. Just this once, we're calling it the Ladies AfterwOOrk. For every guest who walks through our doors on 29 October, VIAGE donates one euro to Think Pink. Between 6 pm and 10 pm, all ladies enjoy free entry, and the first 100 will be welcomed with a complimentary drink.

Bring your friends, colleagues or sister along, because the fuller the house, the bigger the support. In return, you get an evening packed with fun. With a cocktail bar, a magician, a fortune teller, a DJ set and entertainment at our gaming tables, there's never a dull moment. From 8 pm to 9 pm, you can also discover our casino games during an introductory session. And to top it all off, every lady goes home with a Think Pink goodie bag.
