The British All Star cover band, Clearwater Creedence Revival, brings the music of CCR back to life in a tribute show!
In the late sixties and early seventies Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) conquered the American charts. Thanks to their great melodies, combined with the unique, rough voice of John Fogerty, they quickly became America's favorite single band.
They achieved their first major successes by putting their own spin on hits such as Dale Hawking's Suzy Q and Screaming' Jay Hawking's I Put a Spell on You. Their second album, Bayou Country, catapulted them to the top. And then the double hit followed: a single with a gold hit on both sides: Proud Mary and Born on the Bayou. Their songs, often with political overtones, brought them to the Woodstock stage in '69.
Fast forward to today. The British All Star band, Clearwater Creedence Revival, brings the music of CCR back to life in a tribute show. The current line-up of Clearwater Creedence Revival consists of: Peter Barton, singer of The Animals for 15 years, Geoff Hammond, ex Danny Laine Band (Paul McCartney's Wings & Moody Blues), Graham Pollock, ex The Hollies (Eric Haydock's) and Alan Sagar, ex Slack Alice. The seasoned band members perform all the classics live during a one and a half hour long top show.
Keep On Chooglin', Fogerty sang more than half a century ago, which means 'keep swinging'. And that's exactly what you do at a Clearwater Creedence Revival concert.
Don’t miss this exceptional concert with Clearwater Creedence Revival at The VIAGE in Brussels on 9 November 2024!
