Frida, fruit and flair
- Posted 12 Jun 2025

Your summer starts at VIAGE. Frida Kahlo’s spirit – formidable, colourful and undeniably Mexican – pervades every nook and cranny. From the fiery visuals of Viva Frida Kahlo to the sun-drenched cocktails of Casa Alta and our refreshing new smoothies: everything oozes colour, warmth and passion.
Frida lives – in 360°
From 20 June Viva Frida Kahlo – Immersive Experience is back at VIAGE. The reimagined version of an experience that previously captivated thousands of visitors now paints an even more intense, personal and visually striking portrait of one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. Thanks to new projections, a digital reconstruction of La Casa Azul and a more profound exploration of Frida’s life, you’re quite literally walking through her emotions, her paintings and her world. Poetic, raw and wondrously beautiful: this woman and her work strike a chord.
Drink Frida
So what to drink after being immersed in Frida’s world? A smoothie named after her, of course. The Frida is a blend of green apple, watermelon and banana. Its summery flavour explosion is inspired on her colour palette – fruity, vivacious and a tiny bit rebellious – and will exalt your taste buds. You’ll find it at CHILL, our summer terrace full of sweet treats and delightful refreshments. Our summer menu features four flavours. Their mission is to help you cool down and dream away beneath the Brussels sun.
Rooftop with a Mexican soul
And as if that’s not enough, VIAGE also boasts a new asset: Casa Alta, our bohemian rooftop bar. Think southern flair, weathered wood, jute shade cloths, fiery colours and a breathtaking view. Tacos, nachos, cocktails, spritzes – life tastes just a tad better 30 metres up. Whether you’re dropping by for an after-work drink or settling in for a long summer night, you’ve come to the right place.
This summer you don’t have to escape the city to get that holiday feeling. Just come to VIAGE and feel worlds away in a heartbeat. Viva Frida. Viva Casa Alta. Viva la vida.
